21/07/2010	Mainstone 6th in 5km World Open Water Championships City of Perth Swimming Club's Open Water Iron Man Rhys Mainstone has finished an astonishing 6th place in the World Open Water Swimming Championships 5km Event only a day after being dragged from the water with hypothermia during the 10km marathon earlier in the week.

Copies will also be made available at the pool for $8. Finals programs will be available before each evening session at the pool. They are free of charge.

28/07/2010	2010/2011 Summer Almanac Order Form Swimming WA is now taking orders for hard copies of the 2010/2011 Summer Almanac. The Summer Almanac is currently in the development stages and once completed it will also be made available online for downloading for those that don’t wish to purchase a hard copy. If a hard copy version is preferred there will be a small fee of $5.00 per Almanac due to the costs associated with design and printing. If you wish to purchase the Summer Almanac please fill out the order form attached by 5pm 20^th August 2010 and fax to: 08 9227 6089 or via email alison@wa.swimming.org.au

Dive and Try Swim Meets
29/07/2010	Application to host Dive and Try Swim Meets ‘Dive and Try Swim Meets’ (formally Shells) are an initiative from Swimming WA which will be provided to Swimming Clubs to assist with their recruitment programs and is aimed at getting kids involved, no matter your age or ability. Dive and Try swim (formally Shells) have been conducted annually throughout Western Australia by Swimming WA clubs for over 40 years. To host a Dive and Try Swim Meet please download an application form from the link provided and send back to Swimming WA by the 23rd August 2010.
