Thirty four West Australian swimming athletes will embark on Sydney for the 2010 Telstra Australian Swimming Championships at Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from 16^th to 21^st March 2010. The event will consist of 60 events held over 6 days.

The Championships is the most prestigious event on the Swimming Australia calendar and will incorporate the selection trials for the Australian Swimming Team that will attend the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.

The 2010 Telstra Australian Swimming Championships will also include the selection of the following teams/squads:

• 2010 Pan Pacific Championships Team (will also incorporate selection trials for the 2010 Commonwealth Games)

• 2010/11 Telstra Dolphins Squad

The following teams will also be selected from the performances at both the 2010 Telstra Australian Swimming Championships and the 2010 Australian Age Swimming Championships:

• 2010 Oceania Championships
• 2010 Youth Olympic Games
