Indian Ocean All-Stars Tour to Kuala Lumpur
Twenty Swimming WA athletes aged from 13 years right through to 17 years and two club head coaches were chosen based on their performance at the SunSmart State Age Championships back in December 2009, to represent their home state of Western Australia as part of the Indian Ocean All-Stars Tour of Kuala Lumpur.

The tour kicks off on Monday 18th January for five days. WA athletes will be hosted by the Malaysian Sports Council and will be housed in the largest sporting complex in the country, The National Sporting Complex or Kompleks Sukan Negara as known in Malaysia. Swimmers and coaches will take part in clinics, training sessions, mini meets and presentations with members of the Malaysian swimming community as well as social events and sightseeing.

The tour will be staffed by Swimming WA Development Officer, Sam Hunt, West Australian Institute of Sport Swimming Performance Manager, Greg Hodge, Injury Specialist from Murdoch University, Mark Hecimovich and two WA coaches Mel Tantrum and Michael Shaw.
