The Australian Swim Team has completed a golden five-day meet at the Para Pan Pacs in Pasadena, topping the medal tally with a total of 55 gold. The Australians completed the final day at Brookside Park’s Rose Bowl Aquatic Centre with six gold, five silver and two bronze medals for 55 gold, 24 silver and 16 bronze and a total of 95 medals. Western Australia's Madeleine Scott took the gold in the SB9 100m breaststroke in 1:23.09 with Katherine Downie taking the bronze in 1:25.09 and the Silver in the S10 100m freestyle (1:03.15). At the conclusion of a fantastic event for Western Australia's two rising stars, Madeline Scott finished with a half dozen to her name including an incredible 4 gold medals and 2 silvers and Katherine Downie bagged a sensational 7 medals, including 3 gold (all in personal best times), 3 silver and 1 bronze.SWA President Jeanette Bailey congratulated the performances;"Swimming in Western Australia is so proud of the performances of Madeleine and Katherine in the USA.
